Hooligan Parents Escape!

Even Momma and Daddy Hooligan get out once in a while!  We went to a wedding in downtown STL at the Hyatt Regency.  The ceremony and then dance floor were on the rooftop across the street from the Arch.  Beautiful evening!
Big Night Out

Eva's 2nd Birthday

Eva Grace has been with us for 2 years.  I cannot believe it.  She is adorable, amazingly brave, sassy, smart and beautiful.  She and Patrick play pretty well together.  Eva calls him Bubby and Pabby.  We all call Eva, Sissy.  She goes to daycare three days a week at St. Francis.
Eva is fearless.  She can climb the rock wall on our playground and likes to do whatever her big brother is doing.  She is starting to talk up a storm.
Her birthday was lovely.  We had a party at our house.  Sam made a Zhu Zhu pet cake.  Evie LOVED it, but she wasn't too keen on destroying it for eating until Patrcik got involved.  Gwen and I made the cupcakes.  My momma made regular chili and white chicken chili...yummmmm!
Lots of love for Eva.  How lucky our kiddos are to be so loved by so many great people.  I am filled with gratitude.

Update on the Hooligans

Finally!  I've caught up on photos from this summer.  They are at the link below.  Some are from special days, but most are just miscellaneous fun stuff.  Eva and Patrick are both growing up SO fast.

Patrick is  4 and going to pre-K at St. Francis Day Care and 4 year old pre-school at Evangelical.  He is a yellow 2 belt in Tae Kwon Do at Piasa Martial Arts and just finished soccer clinic with Parks & Rec.  Homework is new for him this year, so we're trying hard to keep up with that.  So far so good; Patrick has learned to write almost half of the letters in the alphabet.

Eva is growing like a weed and getting sassier by the minute.  She is going to day care three days a week.  She adores her Patrick and follows him around faithfully.  She also loves to feed the dogs.  Eva just turned two last week.  I can't believe Hooligan #4 has been around 2 years already.

As usual, Sam and I are busy with work.  Real estate work has picked up for me quite a bit toward the end of summer and into fall.  I'm finishing up my 5th year on the Board at the YWCA of Alton; I'll be done at the end of the year.  This fall, I'm joining Junior League.  Sam continues as Treasurer for the PBPA (APD union).

Overall, we're all healthy and happy.  We're looking forward to another super cute Halloween!
